Speaking Sessions:

1. Unleashing the Power of Message-Driven Architectures 2/22/23 2pm PST- Mitchell Herrijgers

    • In today's fast-paced and interconnected world, software systems face the challenge of handling complex communication patterns. Message-driven architectures have revolutionized how components, systems, and services interact, providing a seamless communication experience. However, constructing a reliable and understandable message-driven system involves several crucial elements and considerations. We will delve into the intricacies of building such systems, covering aspects ranging from message modeling to the requirements of a proper message bus while addressing the inherent challenges of eventual consistency. You will become aware that the world of messages does not solely consist of events, that a technical name for a message is not necessarily the best, and location transparency is the most powerful property your message handlers can have. Are you ready for the truth? Then join me on this journey!

2. Monolith to Microservices with the Axon Stack 2/22/24 1pm MST- Ben Runchey

    • Explore how the use of messaging as the foundation for communication within your services can provide you an effective roadmap to help your migration to microservices. Using Axon Server along with the Axon Framework we will demonstrate how to structure, run, and monitor your applications so they are able to effectively scale out (or up) to achieve your goals. Online Booth: 312 (AxonIQ will be exhibiting)

We look forward to meeting you at Booth 312.
