The Role

We’re looking for a Growth Marketing Specialist with an entrepreneurial spirit to own Axoniq’s digital presence end-to-end. You’ll be responsible for how content is produced, optimized, distributed, and measured; how we show up in search (SEO, AEO, and GEO); how social supports both brand and demand; and how paid media is used thoughtfully to accelerate impact and create pipeline. You’ll also play a key role in enabling internal experts—engineers, advocates, and leaders—to show up as credible voices in the market.

You’ve built solid marketing programs at startups, you know what it takes to deliver when the stakes are high, and you’re energized by the pace that comes with a growth-stage company.

What You’ll Own

Content: Run the Engine, Not Just the Calendar

  • Own the content engine: production, review, publishing, sending, and performance tracking

  • Partner with Product, Engineering, DevRel, and Sales to translate deep technical knowledge into high-quality content for a range of audiences

  • Establish content workflows, task assignments, and calendars to ensure consistency and scalability

  • Treat content as modular, focusing on efficient reuse across blog posts, videos, social clips, contributed articles, interviews, explainers, live streams, and more

  • Manage external contributors (writers, editors, agencies) as needed

  • Ensure content supports multiple goals: education, product adoption, pipeline influence, and brand authority

  • Using project management tools, ensure multi-format content is organized, discoverable, and kept top of mind for the Sales team, with clear guidance on when and how to use assets across the buyer journey/funnel stages

  • Aid in the execution of a quarterly external newsletter and a monthly internal newsletter

SEO / AEO / GEO: Own How Axoniq Gets Found

  • Own Axoniq’s organic discovery strategy across traditional search (SEO), answer engines (AEO), and generative engines (GEO)

    • This will include thought leadership, but also technical documentation optimization

  • Identify and prioritize high-intent topics across the buyer and user journey

  • Optimize content for technical accuracy and discoverability (search, AI answers, LLM citations) for a variety of personas within Axoniq’s ICP

  • Monitor performance and algorithm changes, and continuously evolve strategy

  • Partner with our Web Developer to improve site structure, performance, and technical SEO

  • Audit old content and gameplan a process to improve them for SEO

  • Partner with RevOps to deliver reporting on SEO/AEO/GEO performance to marketing and company leadership

Social: Amplify Our People

  • Define Axoniq’s social strategy across LinkedIn, X, YouTube, Reddit, Discord, and emerging platforms relevant to technical audiences

  • Balance brand presence with amplification of people—not just posts

  • Build and run an internal influencer enablement program:

    • Equip leaders, engineers, and advocates with content, guidance, and light coaching and reminders

    • Create repeatable systems for participation without forcing “corporate posting”

    • Create a roster of influencers for different channels and styles (Reddit vs LinkedIn, for example)

  • Personally own day-to-day execution while setting long-term direction that fits cohesively with the larger content strategy and calendar set by marketing leadership

Paid: Concentrated Effort on Growth

  • Partner with RevOps and agency personnel on paid media strategy and execution across channels (search, social, retargeting)

  • Align paid efforts tightly with content, events, and sales priorities

  • Manage reporting to track budget, performance tracking, and ongoing optimization

  • Lead the internal team to create microsites or specific content that will increase the effectiveness of paid media

Measurement & Impact: Track Behavior Across Channels

  • Work with RevOps to define success metrics across channels (not just traffic—pipeline sourced and influence, adoption signals, quality engagement)

    • Direct which dashboards and reporting are needed

  • Continuously test, learn, and iterate based on real data

The Must-Haves

  • 4+ years in marketing, with special concentration in digital marketing and content

  • 3+ years working in growth-stage organizations (Series A–C)

  • 2+ years marketing technical products to developers or technical architects, including Open Source projects

  • Experience with both product-led and sales-led motions

  • Experience with HubSpot, Canva, Google Analytics, SEMRush, Google Tools, LLM tools

  • Someone not afraid to roll up their sleeves and get things out the door with an experimentation mindset
